Elite Aqua-Safe is a modern, high-quality coating specially developed for us in swimming pools, changing rooms and other areas where damage from water and vapour is a potential problem.

The greatest structural proplems of indoor swimming pools are caused by moisture. The evaporation of water from an indoor pool is relentless and, unless levels are effectively managed, moisture can cause mould damage and substrate failure.

Due to the use of Silane-based resin, Elite Aqua-Safe offers a completely water-repellent finish while at the same time being vapour-permeable. When water or vapour lands on a substrate that has been coated with Elite Water Shield, it is repelled immediately, leaving the substrate both dry and clean.

Elite Aqua-Safe does not allow water or vapour to penetrate through the substrate from the outside, but it does allow vapour to pass from the inside to the outside. The walls and ceilings of your swimming pool enclosure will remain dry at depth.

The only answer for the problem of blacking out ceilings is Elite Blackout. Most black coatings are designed for a specific purpose: some stick to plaster and concrete and will not stick to metal and vice-versa. There is therefore a danger of the coating flaking within a short time of application.

It is a very practical coating which is intended to be spray applied. The overspray dries to a powder-like substance while still airborne. This characteristic allows for fast and easy clean-up on the site, a labour-saving feature which can reduce costs by up to 30%

Until now, the redecoration of historic buildings has not been straightforward. Old lime-wash and distemper coated surfaces have been covered with water-based paints and emulsions because they are cheap, easy to apply and readily available.

The use of these coatings is a mistake. It is a waste of time and money.

Why is this a problem?

The solid walls of old and historic buildings contain a considerable amount of moisture. When standard emulsions and masonary coatings are applied, the moisture becomes trapped. Eventually, it forces its way out and causes paint and plaster to flake and come away from the wall.

Not only does this present a serious cosmetic problem, it also is costly to resolve.

Elite Heritage offers the traditional appearance of the original coatings with the added benefits of durability, ease of application and complete stain covering.

Elite Heritage is a cheaper and more modern coating than "Tradition" and will save money without compromise of quality.

Elite Metal Coat is a water-based, acrylic coating for metal surfaces. It is a one-coat, satin system for interior surfaces.

Elite Metal Coat can be applied directly onto carbon, galvanised steel, aluminium cladding, curtain walls and metal joists and is the perfect solution for aged metal-pan ceiling tiles.

As well as being a low-odour, low VOC coating that provides excellent adhesion, gloss and colour retention, Elite Metal Coat is a water-borne system which helps make application and clean-up very easy.

Increased environmental and historical awareness has recently increased the focus around issues linked to esthetical details of coatings.

The desire to conserve older buildings has overtaken the desire to replace them and this has put a lot of pressure on the type of renovation materials to be used.

Where, previously, improvisation was often the rule, specifications today increasingly require raw materials based on the highest possible percentage of naturally existing products.

It is therefore important that mineral coatings developed for the restoration of our heritage are based on a reasonable balance between the highest possible percentage of natural raw materials without compromising the high quality requirements that we have on modern coatings.

This is essential in order to overcome the weaknesses of traditional lime paints and thus to reduce the need and frequency of recoating and maintenance

Due to the use of silane-based resin, Elite Water Shield offers a completely water-repellent finish while at the same time being vapour-permeable.

When water or vapour lands on a substrate that has been coated with Elite Water Shield, it is repelled immediately, forming into droplets which pick up tiny dirt particles. This renders the coating almost self-cleaning. Coated surfaces can even be washed down using high-pressure hose.

Elite Water Shield does not allow water or vapour to penetrate through the substrate from the outside, but it does allow vapour to pass from the inside to the outside. Walls and ceilings coated with Elite Water Shield will remain dry and clean.
